Hurt……….Michael Wayne Bibee, age 39 of Hurt died Monday, June 8, 2020 at his residence.

Born June 13, 1980, he was a son of Clarence Gardner Bibee and Brenda Short Bibee of Hurt.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Roy Bibee; and his maternal grandfather, Elton Short.  Michael attended New Prospect Baptist Church.  He was a welder; and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Angela Walker Bibee of Callands; one son, Isaak Hogan of Callands; one daughter, Gabby Pritchett of Callands; paternal grandmother, Marie Bibee of Hurt; maternal grandmother, Marian Short of Hurt; aunts and uncles, Debra Short of Hurt, Gary Bibee and wife, Susan of Hurt, and Gary Short and wife, Jeanette of Hurt; and his dog and best friend, Alana.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Altavista Memorial Park by Rev. Brady Willis.
