Hurt…….Melodie Cline Boswell, age 61 of Hurt died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born August 8, 1955 in Lynchburg she was a daughter of the late Joe Merkson Cline and Doris Benson Cline. She was predeceased by a brother, J.G. "Sonny" Cline. Mrs. Boswell was a member of Mount Hermon United Methodist Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, reading, and helping other people.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Boswell of the residence; six sons, Conrad Boswell and wife, Beth of Hurt, Joe Boswell and wife, Cheryl of Gretna, Ryan Boswell of Hurt, Donald Boswell and wife, Amy of GA, David Boswell of FL, Bobby Boswell and wife, Carol of AL; two daughters, Jessica Boswell of Gretna and Deborah Wilson and husband, Donald of GA; three sisters, Donna Givens and husband, Richard of Lynchburg, Cindy Taylor of Altavista, and Zina Lambert of South Boston; and 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Mount Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
