Chatham…….Mary McGhee Walden Falls, age 93, of Chatham died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Chatham Health and Rehab Center.

Born August 13, 1927 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Sam Farris McGhee and Ora Lee Hall McGhee. She was first married to the late George Bennett Walden and then to the late, Kenneth Falls; She was also predeceased by a sister, Anna Lee Brookman. Mrs. Falls was a home maker; she enjoyed her time raising her kids, farming and loved helping others.

She is survived by six sons, Howard Walden of Danville, Robert Walden of Gretna, George B. Walden, Jr. of Danville, John Walden and wife, Shelia of Gretna, Jack Walden and wife, Sandra of Gretna and Wayne Walden and wife, Debbie of Chatham; three daughters, Florence Barbour of Gretna, Mae Belle Shelton of Leesburg, FL and Rose Walden of Gretna; one brother, Jesse McGhee of Gretna; one sister, Viola Walden of Chatham; and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren

Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
