Mary Alice Dalton Geller, RN

Wilmington, NC…..Mary Alice Dalton Geller, age 78 of Wilmington, NC previously of Danville died Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Born December 25, 1934 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Claude E. Dalton and Lacy Scruggs Dalton. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey S. Geller; a daughter, Gayle Blair, and a sister, Claudine D. Crawley. Mrs. Geller had a passion for reading, talking on the phone, working crossword puzzles, and playing bridge. She was a registered nurse in the emergency room at Danville Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by one son, Jay Jackson of Wilmington, NC; two daughters, Kitty Hardee and her husband, Kent of Mechanicsville, and Mary Douglas Bruno of Wilmington, NC; one sister, Linda Yates and her husband, Walter of Greensboro, NC; one grandson, Andy Blair of Mechanicsville; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Jack Blair of Glen Allen.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Bobby Thurman and Rev. Mac McDonald. Burial will follow in the Scruggs Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 A.M. Saturday June 22, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
