Gretna………Thomas Mark Reid, age 58 of Gretna died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

Born March 8, 1960 in Batesville, IN, he was a son of the late Peggy Grace Reid and Tom Reid and wife, Mary of Rising Sun, IN.  He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Joseph and June Grace; and paternal grandparents, Thomas Edgar and Natura Reid.  Mark was a member and Deacon of the West End Church of Christ and was a security guard at Smith Mountain Dam with G4S Security.  He was an Army Veteran and member of the Gretna American Legion Post 232. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, woodworking, drag racing, spending time outdoors and helping others.

In addition to his father and step-mother, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Moss Reid of the residence; one daughter, Rachel Reid of Mebane, NC; one brother, Doug Reid and wife, Carrie of Milan, IN; and his mother-in-law, Carol Moss of Gretna.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at West End Church of Christ by Randy Parker, Minister. Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
