Chatham……….Mark Steven Boles, age 68 of Chatham died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

Born May 11, 1953 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Andy Ray Boles and Aurice Callahan Boles.  He was predeceased by one brother, Dennis Ray Boles; and one sister, Anita Boles Kelley.  Mr. Boles was a member of West End Church of Christ and he retired from AEP after 42 years of service.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, bird watching, and spending time with his children and grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Bowen Boles of the residence; two daughters, Beth Boles of Chatham, and Amy Boles of Chatham; one brother, Doug Boles of Gretna; three sisters, Brenda Boles of Gretna, Paula Cocke and husband, Richard of Gretna, and Sharon East and husband, Mike of Hurt; and one grandson, Oliver Boles.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at West End Church of Christ by Randy Parker, Minister.  Burial will follow in the Bowen Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 453 Snowberry Road, Chatham.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Climax Volunteer Fire Department, 4166 Climax Road, Chatham, VA 24531.
