Lynchburg……….Mark Jeffrey Bobbitt, age 53 of Lynchburg died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born April 1, 1962 in Bellevue, Nebraska, he was a son of Bernice Clay Bobbitt of Richmond and the late David Coleman Bobbitt. He was an employee of T.Y. Mortgage in Lynchburg. He loved and was a lifelong fan of the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed spending time at Virginia Beach and spending time on his grandparent's farm in Pittsylvania County.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, Michael Bobbitt and wife, Karen of Glen Allen; a niece and nephew, Jennifer Krauss and husband, Matt and Ian Bobbitt and wife, Lisa; and a special friend, Rebecca Twiddy.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Ronnie Simpson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
