Hurt…..Helen Marie Saunders, age 75 of Hurt died Friday, April 23, 2021 at Autumn Care of Altavista.

Born August 5, 1945 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late George Washington Saunders and Doris Moore Saunders.  She was predeceased by her sister, Debra Craft; and one brother, Ronnie Saunders.  Helen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gretna and she retired from Klopman Mills.  She enjoyed watching soap operas; and she loved her dogs, Sammy and Lucy.

She is survived by one sister, Patsy S. Clements and husband, Roger of Hurt; one niece, Tammy C. Bush; and one great-nephew, Daniel Bush.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Hillcrest Burial Park by Rev. Steve Morris.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Roger Clements, 2044 Shula Drive, Hurt.
