Obituary

Sandy Level……….Alice "Marie" Crews Gray, age 78 of Sandy Level entered Heaven's Gates peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Born March 8, 1941 she was a daughter of the late Roy Millard Crews and Sarah Fielder Crews.  She was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer Dawn Gray; two brothers, Havert Crews and Milton Crews; two sisters, Delsia Gray and Terry Crews Dalton; and her mother-in-law, Hilda White Gray.

Mrs. Gray was a member of Round Pond Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, WMU leader, and VBS Director.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Mrs. Gray enjoyed cooking, flowers, gardening, fishing, antiques, auctions, and NASCAR racing.  She loved gospel music, President Donald J. Trump and old westerns.

She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 63 years, Thomas Billy Gray, Jr.; four sons, Thomas Billy Gray III, Millard Dale Gray and wife, Sherrie, Patrick Daniel Gray and wife, Tonya, and Kevin Michael Gray and wife, Shannon; two daughters, Rhonda Gray Andrews and husband, Garvin, and Angela Gray Catlin-Newman and husband, Tommy; three brothers, Clyde Crews, Buddy Crews, and Howard Crews; three sisters, Nelsia Chism, Glenda Ramsey, and Betty Bond; 16 grandchildren including two special granddaughters, Connie Sue Gray and Roxanne Dudley, 23 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Round Pond Baptist Church by Rev. Ricky Hogan.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.

The family would like to thank the staff of Centra Hospice for their love and care.
