Margie Elizabeth Hogan Fulcher

Hurt......Margie Elizabeth Hogan Fulcher, age 70, of 220 Jasper Wood Road, Hurt died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her residence. Born August 8, 1940 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late James Lawrence Hogan and Leola Kate Farmer Hogan. She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Gaston Fulcher, one brother, Wayne Walden and a sister, Rose Hogan Taylor. Mrs. Fulcher was a retired employee of Siemens Automotive in Newport News and was a member of Elim Assembly of God in Altavista. She loved dolls and her dogs.
She is survived by one brother, James Hogan; five sisters, including two dedicated sisters, Ann Grubbs and Gertrude Fifer, Inez Swain, Shirley Nichols, and Frances Hembree; nieces & nephews, including special nieces, Mary Gregory, Lesia Betterton, Cindy Sigler, Angie Hutcherson, and Brenda Grubbs.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. David W. Rowland and Rev. Jim Critchley. Burial will follow in the Motley United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
