Conway, SC……….Margaret Woodson Moorefield, age 93 of Conway, SC died Sunday February 28, 2021 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born December 14, 1927 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse E. Woodson and Nannie Bailess Woodson.  She was predeceased by her husband, James "Jim" Monroe Moorefield; three brothers, James Woodson, Aubrey Woodson, and Leroy Woodson; and four sisters, Christine Rowland, Ola Price, Edna Shelton, and Louise Gardner.  Mrs. Moorefield was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and she was a farmer.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Arnold of Conway, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Lynn Marstin.  Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
