Gretna…….Malerie Anne Quarles, age 29 of Gretna died Friday, February 17, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident.
Born August 28, 1987 in Lynchburg she was a daughter of James Columbus Quarles of Gretna and Melanie Wilson Quarles and Wade Quarles of Gretna. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, R.C. "Joe" Quarles and Maybelle Hackworth Quarles and her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Midkiff. She attended Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Malerie was an outgoing person that saw the beauty in everyone and everything.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one brother, Jeremy Quarles; two sisters, Sabrina Quarles and fiancé, Brandon Adams and Miranda Quarles; her maternal grandmother, Margaret Midkiff; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Ed Fitzgerald.
