Danville………Madeline Toler Elliott, age 97 of Danville died Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Roman Eagle Rehab and Health Care Center in Danville.

Born October 24, 1923 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Paul Toler and Mary Haskins Toler.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lee O'Dell Elliott; one great-grandson, David Shelton; and 11 brothers and sisters.  She was a member of Blairs Baptist Church and she retired from Dan River Mills.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, and eating.

She is survived by two daughters, Frances Elliott Cheek of Danville, and Nancy L. Elliott of Danville; one sister, Ynell T. Brumfield of Roanoke; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Summersett Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Darrell Campbell.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Blairs Baptist Church, P.O. Box 308, Blairs, VA 24527.
