Chatham……….Mack Rome Eatmon, Sr., age 76 of Chatham died Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born December 4, 1948 in Maryland, he was a son of the late Hubert Eatmon and Mary Forline Eatmon.  He was predeceased by his wife, Cecile Ann Tuck Eatmon; and two sisters, Rose March and Martha Gibson.  Mr. Eatmon was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired foreman with the City of Chesapeake Public Utilities.

He is survived by one daughter, Lois Batten and husband, James; one son, Mack Eatmon, Jr.; one sister, Mona Guy and husband, Gary; one brother, Robert Eatmon; two grandchildren, Joseph Batten and wife, Hannah and Joshua Batten; and one great-grandchild, Everly Batten.

Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the residence, 640 North Flint Hill Road, Chatham, VA 24531.
