Mack Pickrel

Gretna…….Wiley Mack Pickrel, age 74 of Gretna died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born July 20, 1938 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Harold Vernon Pickrel, Sr. and Doris Hankins Pickrel. He was predeceased by his wife, Arlene Agnes (Irene) Pickrel. Mr. Pickrel enjoyed fishing, hunting, car racing, and all sports, especially baseball. He was a watch maker.
He is survived by two brothers, Harold V. Pickrel, Jr. and his wife, Ann of Gretna, and Clifton Pickrel and his wife, Virginia of Society Hill, SC; and one sister, Sondra Pickurel and her husband, Buren of Ridgeway.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery by Rev. Cleon M. Ross.
