Hurt…..Mable Elizabeth "Nancy" Arthur Bradner, age 76 of 241 Clover Road, Hurt died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Virginia Baptist Hospital.
Born May 4, 1938 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Guy Arthur and Pearl Drewery Arthur. She was predeceased by one brother, two half-brothers; and two half-sisters. Mrs. Bradner enjoyed working in the garden, working with flowers, fishing and going out to eat.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Bradner of the residence; two daughters, Patricia Vaughn of Rustburg and Belinda Harvey and husband, Jeff of Gladys; one step-son, Michael Bradner and wife, Ruth of Altavista; one sister, Barbara McKinney of Danville; a special friend, Madeline Johnson; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild,
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Gospel Light Baptist Church by Rev. Latta Terry. Burial will follow in Altavista Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
