Louise Ramsey Woodruff

Gretna.......Louise Ramsey Woodruff, age 90, of Chatham formerly of Augusta, SC died Friday, October 22, 2010 in Danville Regional Medical Center.
Born October 19, 1920 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late, Thomas Isiah Ramsey and Annie May Whitley Ramsey. Mrs. Woodruff was predeceased by her husband, William Harold Woodruff, Sr.; a son William Harold Woodruff, Jr.; two brothers, Tom Ramsey and Wade Ramsey. She was a graduate of Phillips Business College, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Augusta, GA. and was a bookkeeper. Mrs. Woodruff enjoyed reading and was a gourmet cook.
She is survived by two sisters, Judith R. Motley and husband, Fuller of Chatham and, Janice R. Payne and husband, Bill of Harvest, AL.
A memorial service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Terry Schultz, Minister.
The family will receive friends at the residence of her sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Fuller Motley, 4740 Payneton Road, Chatham.
