Chatham…….Lori Ann Gibson Wells, age 56 of Chatham died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at UVA Medical Center.
Born August 30, 1961 in Marrero, Louisiana, she was a daughter of Doris Gibson of Chatham and the late Austin Gibson. Mrs. Wells was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Danville and was a registered nurse. She enjoyed crafts, going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, "Jake."
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Harvey Wells of the residence; two daughters, Stephanie Arthur and husband, Garrett of Hurt and Adrienne O'Leary and husband, Sean of Collinsville; two sisters, Glori Sue Keen and husband, Oadie of Blairs and Austina Gibson of Chatham; three grandchildren, Kelsey Bowling, Garrett O'Leary and Ryleigh O'Leary; and nieces and nephews, Misty Knowles, Jill Parsons, Shayna Keen, Trey Keen, Auvin Witt, Brilee Hoffman and Elaina Hoffman.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Daniel Royo. Burial will follow in the Gibson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of her mother, Doris Gibson, 10365 Anderson Mill Road, Chatham.
