Chatham………Loretta Crum Hoskins, age 88 of Chatham, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at Sovah Health Danville surrounded by her family.

Born July 7, 1937 in Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Crum and Vaughnie Blankenship Crum King. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard "Stan" Hoskins; two sons, David Hoskins and Billy Joe Hoskins; six brothers, Matt, Mark, John, Acts, Tom and Luke; six sisters, Rachel, Martha, Mary, Augusta, Gracie and Gin; a grandson, Chris Wilson; and great-grandson, Andrew. Mrs. Hoskins was a member of Greenbay Christian Church. She enjoyed planting a garden every year, working in her flower garden and going out to eat. Loretta loved President Trump and Jimmy Swaggert. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; she loved listening to gospel music, especially hearing her girls sing.

She is survived by one son, Mike Hoskins (Cheryl) of Axton; four daughters, Tammy "Sissy" Wilson (Doug) of Pittsville, Barbie Eanes (Robert) of Blairs, Angie McDaniel (Stacy) of Chatham and Delta Mitchell (Jay) of Ridgeway; 12 grandchildren, Michael Lee, Stephanie, Joey, Brandon, Robbie, Ryan, Danica, Melissa, Alyssa, Landon, Hannah and Brittney; 6 great-grandchildren, Emma, J.J., Reagan, Katharine, Easton and Dominick; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Cindy Crews and Julie Bennett.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Open Bible Baptist Church by Pastor Tim Kyser, Pastor Steve Johnson and Pastor Gerald Kelly. Burial will follow at Greenbay Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence, 869 Greenbay Rd. Chatham, Virginia.
