Gretna……..Lisa Diane Tyler, age 55 of Gretna died Monday, November 6, 2017 at her residence.
Born June 5, 1962 in Danville, she was a daughter of Dell Midkiff Tyler of Gretna and the late Don Loring Tyler, Sr. She was predeceased by a brother, Howard Scott Tyler. Lisa was a graduate of Longwood University and was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Regional One and was a past member of the Gretna and Chatham Rescue Squads.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Jonathan Tyler of Monroe; her brother Don Tyler, Jr. and wife, JoAnn of Gretna; her uncle David Midkiff of Gretna, uncle Scott Tyler and wife Anna of Williamsburg; one nephew, Charlie Tyler and wife, Emily of Gretna; one niece, Catherine Tyler of Gretna and her great-niece, Harper Tyler of Gretna.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be the residence of her mother, Dell Tyler.
