Fredericksburg…..Lisa Dawn Gammons, age 45 of Fredericksburg died Monday, August 20, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Born June 29, 1967 in Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount she was a daughter of Blaine Gammons and Louise Cassidy Gammons of Sandy Level. She was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 25 years, most recently as a program and management analyst. She developed breast cancer in 2002 and thought it was cured. It returned with a vengeance in 2010. She fought a long hard fight with determination and courage always hoping for a miracle, but it was not to be.
In addition to her parents she is survived by Calvin and Hobbes, her two adorable cats.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Mark Games.
