Hurt…...Linda Tucker Updike, age 72 of Hurt died Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at her residence.

Born June 7, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Russell Earl Tucker and Dorothy Keatts Tucker.  Mrs. Updike was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and she was the owner/operator of Linda's Hair Styles. She never met a stranger; and she enjoyed traveling, hunting, antiquing, and shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Reggie Updike of the residence.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Altavista Memorial Park by Dr. Ricky Ewing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Altavista Memorial Park.
