Gretna………Linda Rowland Dalton, age 66 of Gretna died Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born July 2, 1956 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Herman Rowland and Elsie Mae Falls Rowland. She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce Bennett and Dorothy Rowland; and a grandson, Cody Barbour Mrs. Dalton was a CNA and a member at Sycamore Baptist Church. She loved singing, going to yard sales and doing anything she could to help other people.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard Dalton of the residence; three sons, B.J. Dalton and wife, April of Gretna, Jamie Barbour of Gretna and Robbie Barbour and wife, Laura of Dry Fork; two sisters, Betty Hedrick of Gretna and Dora Henley and husband, Ken of Gretna; a special niece who she loved as a daughter, Cindy Barbour; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Jeff Worley. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 and Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
