Lynch Station………Linda Emerson Mason, age 73 of Lynch Station passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born July 17, 1952 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow Emerson, Sr. and Louise May King Emerson.  She was predeceased by her husband, James Lester Mason.  Mrs. Mason was a home maker and enjoyed fishing and knitting.

She is survived by four sons, Jeffrey Mason of Lynch Station, Will Mason of Lynch Station, Morgan Mason of Lynch Station and David Mason and wife, Candy of Lynch Station; four brothers, Wayne Emerson of Altavista, Mack Emerson of Altavista, Woodrow Emerson, Jr. of Altavista and Steve Emerson and wife, Michele of Motley; four grandchildren, John Mason, Ethan Mason, Evan Mason and Carson Pickeral; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per her request there will be no public service.
