Linda Kay Davis, age 79 of Yanceyville, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her residence.

Linda was born on February 14, 1946, in Davidson County, NC, a daughter of the late Thurman B. Davis and Marie Virginia Davis. She lived most of her life in Yanceyville and worked at Dan River Mills until her retirement.

Linda is survived by her son, Michael Davis (Jordan); granddaughter, Mikayla Davis; brothers, Jerry Davis and Wayne Hunt (Brenda); sister, Sue Martin (Jeff); nieces, Ashley Barnwell (Scotty), Allary Barnwell and Addisyn Barnwell; nephews, Cody Tatum, Kevin Tatum (Tina), Keith Tatum (Denise), Jacob Tatum (Makaylyn), Rodney Hunt (Tricia), Mason Hunt, Brantley Hunt, Adam Hunt and Gavin Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jim Hunt (Gayle).

To honor Linda's wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. The family will receive friends at the residence.
