Ringgold……….Linda Hogan Dalton, age 59 of 749 Fall Creek Road, Ringgold died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at her residence after a long battle with Cancer surrounded by family and friends.
Born September 10, 1952 in Bedford, she was a daughter of Kathleen Dudley Hogan of Java and the late Carl Bennett Hogan. She was predeceased by a son Allen Wayne Dalton. Linda was member of North Main Baptist Church and was an office manager with Virginia Carolina Mobile Homes. She enjoyed playing the piano, board games, spending time with family, cooking, and traveling.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Stanley E. Dalton of the residence; one son, Jeffrey Dalton and wife Christina of Rougemont, NC; three brothers, Johnny Hogan of Java, Bobby Hogan and wife Marie of Java, and Ricky Hogan and wife, Janet of Gretna; two sisters, JoAnne Perdue and husband Wendell of Glade Hill, and Kathy Shelton of Gretna.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at North Main Baptist Church by Pastor Fred Unger and the Rev. Dr. Lynn Marstin. Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
