Gretna……Linda Wilson Crews, age 72 of Gretna died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born August 6, 1949 in Halifax County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Wilson and Gertrude Wilson.  She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Betterton; her fiancé, Gerald Crews; and two brothers, Perry Wilson, and Mike Wilson.  Linda was a member of Second Baptist Church of South Boston.  She enjoyed shopping, taking naps, watching t.v., snacking, and talking on the phone.

She is survived by one son, Joey Betterton of Gretna; one sister, Deborah Wilson of Sun City Center, FL; two grandchildren, Rachel Betterton, and Caleb Betterton; one great-grandchild, Avery; and numerous cousins, and close friends.

Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Edward Pope.
