Altavista……..Linda Gail Clements, age 73 of Altavista died Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her residence.

Born March 14, 1950 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Horace Daniel Clements and Janie Lee Hendricks Clements.  She was predeceased by one sister, Katie Mae Clements.  Linda was a member of Perrows Chapel and she retired from Universal.  She loved reading, flowers, gardening, and painting.  She was always looking for craft ideas.

She is survived by one brother, Roger Clements and wife, Patsy of Hurt; one niece, Tammy Bush of Lynchburg; one great-nephew, Daniel Bush of New York; and a dear friend, Kim Elliott of Hurt.

Per her request there will be no public service.

The family would like to thank the Altavista Police and EMS as well as Linda's neighbors, the Short family for their care and kindness.
