Chatham……….Lillian Audrey Taylor Cox, age 85 of Chatham died Friday, February 5, 2021 at her residence.

Born February 28, 1935 in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John Taylor and Mallie Sloan Taylor.  She was predeceased by her husband, Sharkie Learman Cox; and one son, Greg Cox.  Mrs. Cox was a member of Greenpond Baptist Church and she retired from Pluma Textiles.  She ran the Old Climax Store; and she enjoyed antiquing.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn Cox and wife, Julie of Chatham, and Ralph Barry Cox of Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Donna Brown of Jeffersonville, IN; one brother, Robert Taylor of Wabash, IN; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Greenpond Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. R.G. Rowland.
