Sandy Level……….Leonard "Bobby" Dale Fielder, age 57 of Sandy Level died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at his residence.
Born January 25, 1958 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late Bryant Jennings Fielder and Missie June Adkins Fielder. He was predeceased by a brother, Allen Fielder. Mr. Fielder was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church and was a truck driver. He loved serving the Lord by giving gospel brochures to people.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Bentley Fielder of the residence; two stepdaughters, Danna Becker and Jessica Williams; five brothers, Darrell Adkins of Reidsville, NC, Harry "Butch" Fielder and his wife, Gaye of Martinsville, Forrest "Frosty" Fielder of Keeling, Brock Fielder and his wife, Tammy of Gretna and Joel "Bo" Fielder of Tappahannock; one sister, Anna Marie Thompson of Pittsville; eight grandchildren, James Stewart, Joshua Easton-Williams, D'Angel Easton-Williams, Abigail Easton-Williams, Noah Easton-Williams, Kaira Becker, Morgan Becker and Eli Becker; and three nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Round Pond Baptist Church by Ricky Hogan and Pastor Tim Kyser. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Round Pond Baptist Church.
