Chatham……Lee Roy Roach, age 69 of Chatham, died Monday, August 7, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born September 24, 1953 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Sam Morgan Roach and Dorothy Wisely Green.  He was predeceased by his step-father, William Green; one brother, David Green; and one half-brother, Scott Roach.  Lee was of the Baptist faith and a former employee at Klopman Mills.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding horses, and watching Westerns and wrestling on television.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Moore Roach of Chatham; one brother, Robert Green and wife, Donna of Altavista; one sister, Susan Newby and husband, Dennis of Hurt; one half-brother, Kelly Roach of Reidsville, NC; and three half-sisters, Vickie Roach of Durham, NC, Kathy Roach of Durham, NC, and Linda Roach of Durham, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Wagner Family Cemetery by Rev. Bobby Brumfield.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
