Lee Brinkley Asbury of Hurt, VA, passed away on March 29 ^th 2023.

Lee w as born in 1939 in Kingsport, TN to James and Mabel Brinkley Asbury.

He was a graduate of Lynchburg College.  A former businessman, he was a devoted father and avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed bird hunting, fishing and later in life gardening and spending time with his 8 grandchildren.

He is survived by sons; David (Amy) Asbury of Charlotte, NC; Hunt (Debbie) Asbury of Lynchburg, VA; and Chris (Kara) Asbury of Conway, SC.  Brother; Al Asbury of Kingsport, TN.

The family will plan a celebration of life at a future date.
