Hurt…….Larry Junior Short, age 68 of Hurt died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born August 14, 1954 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Malcolm Short and Betty Farris Short.  He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Short.  Mr. Short retired from Klopman Mills.  He loved old cars, music and taking Amber to places to sing.

He is survived by one daughter, Amber Short (Derek Witcher) of Gretna; and one son, Brian Mason.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Ronnie Simpson.  Burial will follow in Motley United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
