Gretna……Latane Ray (Teenie) Dalton, age 77 of Gretna died Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born December 23, 1945, he was a son of the late Odie B. Dalton and Caroline D. Dalton. He was predeceased by his wife, Juliet Payne Dalton; and infant sister, Bonnie Dalton; and three brothers, Russell Lee Dalton, Stuart Dalton and Ryland Dalton. Teenie was a member of Summersett Baptist Church and was a farmer.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Dalton; one brother, Mike Dalton; and two grandchildren, Braxton Eades and Ashton Eades; and his special friend, Vicki Wilson.

Per his request there will be no public service.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses of Neuro ICU and Oncology at Lynchburg General Hospital for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to your local animal shelter.
