Kirby A. DeBoe, Sr., age 86 of St. Petersburg, Florida died Monday, October 23, 2023.

Born June 11, 1937 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Hezekiah DeBoe and Alla Whitt DeBoe.  He was also predeceased by four brothers, Jerry DeBoe, David W. DeBoe, Maxey DeBoe, and Eric DeBoe.  Mr. DeBoe was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the 101st Airborne Division.  He was a graduate of Climax High School and a government contractor.  He loved Jesus Christ and Donald Trump.  He also enjoyed fishing, shooting, and listening to Hank Williams, and Jim Reeves.

He is survived by one son, Kirby DeBoe II; three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Aven T. DeBoe and wife, Sharon.

Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Wagner Family Cemetery by Rev. Bobby Brumfield.  Military Honors by American Legion Altavista Post 36 and Gretna Post 232.
