Gretna…..Kevin Lee Jacobs, age 26 of 2808 Spring Road, Gretna died Friday, December 16, 2011 as the result of a work accident.
Born July 13, 1985 in Salem, he was a son of Charlie "David" Jacobs and Brenda Doss Jacobs of Gretna. Kevin was employed by Amthor International. He enjoyed video games, music, and riding dirt bikes.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Jacobs of Gretna; one brother, Dustin Jacobs and his wife, Brandie of Gretna; and one nephew, Kirin Jacobs.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Pastor Kendall Smith and Pastor Matthew Speck. Burial will follow in Liberty Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
