Kevin Wayne Bennett

Gretna…..Kevin Wayne Bennett, age 50 of Gretna died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his mothers residence in Appomattox.
Born May 12, 1965 in Danville he was a son of Wayne Bennett and his wife, Margie of Sandy Level and Carolyn Mason Wyatt and her husband, Harold of Appomattox. He was predeceased by a brother, Joey Bennett. Mr. Bennett was of the Baptist Faith and was an electrician. He enjoyed all military history. He especially enjoyed Civil War history and searching for Civil War relics. He also enjoyed raising goats and cats.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, John Guthrie Wyatt of Pittsburgh, PA.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery by Rev. Mike Allen and Rev. Allen Gregory.
The family will receive friends at his residence, 189 Azalea Drive, Gretna and at the residence of his father and step-mother, Wayne and Margie Bennett, 10748 West Gretna Road, Sandy Level.
