Penhook............Kerry Wayne Jefferson, age 49 of 1621 Fruitridge Drive, Penhook died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born October 24, 1961 in Rocky Mount, he was a son of Thomas Wayne Jefferson, and Joyce Bradner Jefferson of Penhook. He was a member of Penhook United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, beagle dogs, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and loved sports. Mr. Jefferson was employed by VDOT.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Connie Sue Pagans Jefferson of the residence; a daughter, Brandi Surber of Bassett; a sister, Susan Holland and husband, Randy of Boones Mill; a brother, Josh Jefferson of Penhook; a grandson, Colin Surber; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry and Shirley Pagans of Wirtz; an uncle, Silas Bradner of Penhook; and a nephew, Travis Holland of Boones Mill.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Wayne Grinnell, Minister. Burial will follow in Liberty Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
