Gretna……….Kenneth Earl Blair, age 47 of Gretna died Friday, March 4, 2016 at his residence.
Born October 17, 1968 in Danville he was a son of Joyce M. Routon of Gretna and the late Samuel Earl Blair. Mr. Blair was predeceased by his step-father, W. Murrell Routon, Jr. He attended Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a former employee at Capps Shoe Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, farming, NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Justin Blair of Chatham; one brother, Stephen Blair and wife, Amy of Gretna; one sister, Jackie B. Geyer of Danville; three nephews, Addison Geyer and wife, April, Morgan Blair and Benjamin Blair; and a special friend, Nicole Elliott.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Mike Allen and Rev. Jimmy Tilley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his mother, Joyce M. Routon, 1489 Sycamore Road, Gretna.
