Gretna……….Katherine "Kathy" Bragg Nuckolds, age 70 of Gretna died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born January 11, 1946 in Campbell County she was a daughter of the late Travis Alexander Bragg and Edythe Reynolds Bragg. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Rex Nuckolds; and a brother, Travis Lee Bragg. Mrs. Nuckolds was a home maker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cleaning the house, canning and fishing.
She is survived by one son, Timothy R. Nuckolds of Madison Heights; three daughters, Priscilla Nuckolds and significant other, Kenny McCrary of Lynchburg, Barbara Thomas and husband, Ralph of Gretna and Becky Rowland and significant other, Tony Rowland of Gretna; two sisters, Aleta Gerchak and husband, Dave of S.C. and Jane Bragg of Lynch Station; seven grandchildren, Charlotte Rowland, Cody Rowland, Raven Leonard and significant other, Travis Guthrie, Samantha Jo Faulkner & husband, David, Courtney Franklin and husband, Paul, T.J. Witt and significant other, Eva Amaya and Shean P. Hammond; and two great-grandchildren, Stormye Franklin and Jameson Allen Witt.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
