Altavista…….Kathleen Mason Noel, age 92 of Altavista died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born June 18, 1924 in Campbell County she was a daughter of the late Johnny Mason and Janie Mattox Mason. She was predeceased by her husband, Preston Raymond Noel; five brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Noel was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and visiting with people.
She is survived by two sons, Clayton Noel and wife, Barbara of Evington and Raymond Noel of Warsaw, Missouri; one daughter, Doris Noel Trent of Altavista; one sister, Lillie Perrow of Lynchburg; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jim Critchley and Rev. Jeff Chapman. Burial will follow in Altavista Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
