Java……….Kathleen Dudley Hogan, age 83 of Java died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the residence.
Born November 13, 1928 in Franklin County she was a daughter of the late Mack Dudley and Pearl Cundiff Dudley. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Bennett Hogan; two daughters, Linda Hogan Dalton, and Jo Anne Hogan Perdue; one grandson Allen Wayne Dalton; two brothers, Marshall Dudley, and Cecil Dudley; and two sisters, Hilda Pasley, and Marjorie Scott. Mrs. Hogan was member of Midway Baptist Church and was a home maker. She enjoyed cooking, and visiting her sister.
She is survived by three sons, Johnny Hogan of Java, Bobby Hogan and his wife, Marie of Java, and Ricky Hogan and his wife, Janet of Gretna; one daughter, Kathy Shelton of Gretna; one brother, A.B. Dudley of Penhook; two sons-in-law, Stanley Dalton of Ringgold, and Wendell Perdue of Glade Hill; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Midway Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Lynn Marstin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Monday, October 1, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence 2325 Riceville Road, Java.
