Gretna………Katherine Crawley Rowland, age 103 of Gretna died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born September 23, 1917 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Sam Henry Crawley, Sr. and Irene Towler Crawley.  She was predeceased by her husband, Paul G. Rowland; one daughter, Maxine Catron; one son-in-law, Mickey Catron; four brothers, Tommy Crawley, Ray Crawley, John Crawley, and S.H. "Pete" Crawley; and three sisters, Myrtle Scott, Agatha Shelton, and Ruby Rowland.  Mrs. Rowland was a member of Gretna Christian Church and she retired from the Lane Company.  She enjoyed going to church, quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Paul "Darrell" Rowland of Gretna; three grandchildren, Paul Catron, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Gretna, Kathy R. Waller and husband, Chad of Hurt, and Christy R. Drouin and husband, Chris of Kerhonkson, NY; and seven great-grandchildren, James Catron, Tyler Catron, Krista Waller, Nathan Waller, Will Waller, Jenna Beth Drouin, and Ella Grace Drouin.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Gretna Burial Park by Lee Ashley, Minister.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
