Gretna......Karon Knott Hill, age 55, of 2860 Piney Grove Road, Gretna died Thursday, December 9 2010 at her residence. Born March 9, 1955 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Jackson Knott and Lovelette Louise Harvey Knott. She was predeceased by two brothers, Glen Knott and Melvin Knott. Karon was a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church. She loved flowers, cooking, antiquing, make-up and high heel shoes.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Hill and wife, Amy of Gretna, and Bret Hill and friend, Wendy of Gretna; one brother, Kyle Knott of Farmville; three sisters, Sandra Perdue of Lynchburg, Libby Collins of Virginia Beach, and Barbara Davis of Chesterfield; one grandchild, Lydia Hill.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Robert Townsend. Burial will follow in the Hill Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday (1 to 2 p.m.) at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, and other times be at the residence
