Ringgold………Karin Otto Pietzsch-Robertson, age 81 of Ringgold died Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her residence.

Born September 13, 1941 in Dresden, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Friedrich Wilhelm Otto and Charlotte Lebun Otto.  She was predeceased by her husband, John "Junior" Richard Robertson, Jr.  Karin was a former CNA with Danville Regional Medical Center; and she loved traveling, going to the beach, cooking, teaching people how to cook, swimming, and taking care of people.

She is survived by one son, Ralf Pietzsch and wife, Dawn of Tennessee; two daughters, Michaela Adkins of Ringgold and Sabine Moldt of Florida; five grandchildren, Marissa Pietzsch, Alex Pietzsch, Sean Pietzsch, Dylan Pietzsch and Natalie Barker; and one great-grandchild, Cameron Mays.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jim Brown.
