Gretna……….Karen Sue "Kaye" Neal, age 69 of Gretna died Monday, November 18, 2024 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born April 27, 1955 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert "Bob" Reese Neal, Sr. and Flora Davis Neal.  She was predeceased by one son, Kevin Ray Maddox; one granddaughter, Ariel Elizabeth Merkley; one sister, Bonnie Lou Neal; and one brother-in-law, George Hughes, Jr.  Kaye was a certified nursing assistant and she enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by two grandsons, Chris Trammell of Blairs and Kevin Hille of Gretna; two sisters, Nancy Hughes of Altavista and Teresa Neal of Danville; one brother, Herb Neal, Jr. and wife, Janice of Gretna; her dog, Sir. Oliver and her cat, Mr. Dixon.

Memorial services will take place at a later date.
