Hurt…….Karen Crystal Gregory Chumley, age 56 of Hurt died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her residence.
Born February 13, 1956 in Danville, she was a daughter of Beulah Dalton Gregory of Danville and the late Clyde C. Gregory. She was a member of Timberlake Baptist Church in Danville and was a retired employee of Midtown Supermarket. Karen enjoyed crocheting, gospel music, and spending time with her granddaughter.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Bill Chumley of the residence; four sons, Jonathan Chumley of Destin, FL, Joshua Chumley of Danville, Michael Chumley of Hurt, and Matthew Chumley of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Jackie Everett and husband, Steve of Danville, Pam Thomas of Danville, and Gay White and husband, Jimmy of Pounding Mill; one granddaughter, Mady Ray and her mother, Raven Burton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at New Prospect Baptist Church by Rev. Brady Willis. Burial will follow in the Chumley Family Cemetery.

The family is at the residence of her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris and Bud Atkinson, 8181 Blue Ridge Drive, Hurt.
