Hurt………Kacey Leann Wageman, age 24 of Hurt died Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born August 8, 1996 in Virginia Beach, she was a daughter of Don Wageman of Boise, ID and Tammie Wageman of Hurt.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Willie R. Perkins; and her paternal grandmother, Betty Wageman.  Kacey was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and a 2014 graduate of Gretna High School.  She never met a stranger and had many close friends that she considered family.  She loved animals and photography.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Jacob Wageman of Hurt; maternal grandmother, Christine Perkins of Hurt; paternal grandfather, Jim Wageman of Boise, ID; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private memorial services will be held at New Prospect Baptist Church by Rev. Brady Willis.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at New Prospect Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Everyone attending the service and visitation must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
