Gretna……….Justin Ryan Hedrick "Festus" age, 34 of Gretna died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born January 7, 1981 in Danville he was a son of Frances Vasser Knox of Myrtle Beach, SC and Bobby William Hedrick of Gretna. He was predeceased by one cousin, Joey Bennett. Justin was a carpenter. He loved being outdoors, fishing, and hunting; and spending time with family and friends, especially Granny and Papa Vasser.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Felix and Annie Bell Vasser of Gretna; his paternal grandparents, Morris and Jeannette Hedrick of Gretna; a special friend, Lenna Foster and her children, Liam Foster, Jilian Foster and Aden Foster; step-fathers, James Knox and Walter Osborne; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his dog and best friend, Rose.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. Jason Andrews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his grandparents, Felix and Annie Bell Vasser, 1720 Weatherford Drive, Gretna.
