Gretna……Rollie "Junior" Rigney, age 75 of Gretna died Monday, June 20, 2022 at Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville.

Born October 2, 1946 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Leslie Rigney and Irene Rigney.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Lance Rigney, Douglas Rigney, and Maynard Rigney; and one sister, Betty Louise Tuggle.  Junior enjoyed working and worked for Gibson Lumber Company for thirty years.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
